Cyvia Grossberg Wolff, native Houstonian, met the love of her life, Melvyn in 1956. From that time on, it was always Cyvia and Melvyn. Their interests may not have been the same, but they enjoyed sharing each other’s interests. Cyvia learned to enjoy the Art world from her parents. She has great interest in Education, especially in the public schools, Children’s Health, and Art.
She has picked up where Melvyn left off with the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the C.T. Bauer College of Business. She continues to demonstrate her passion for the students in the program and the program itself. The joy the students bring to her cannot be measured. She invites the Wolff Scholars into her home and travels with the entrepreneur students to broaden their horizons so they can reach for the stars.
Cyvia’s interests continue to lie in the improvement of public education, children’s health and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. And of course, her love for Congregation Beth Israel is top of the list and the importance of its role in the Houston Jewish community.
It was the hope of Melvyn and will always be the dream of Cyvia that long after they are forgotten, the impact of Wolff Center students will continue to be successful and positive for ENTREPRENEURS of the FUTURE.
